We are a precision electronicss manufacturing and design services provider for a selected group of the world’s leading OEM makers. Our focus is on the manufacturing of high-end products in the telecommunications and consumer electronics sectors, which include, but not limited to, electronics components, wireless communication terminal handler, LCD modules, RF modules and FPC sub-assemblies.

History and Development

Zastron’s current operations have been established as part of the Nam Tai Group since 1995. The Nam Tai Group has been operating in the PRC since 1987 and, from 1992 onwards, has developed various electronics manufacturing businesses based at our production site in Baoan, Shenzhen. These businesses included the manufacture of optical devices, home entertainment devices, mobile phone accessories and educational products and the manufacture of essential components and sub-assemblies for communications devices and office and household appliances.

In 1997, NTE Inc. took the decision to separate these businesses due to the differences in their nature and the fact that they each had their own group of core customers and management team at the operational level. Through a series of corporate reorganizations, these businesses are now carried on substantially by two separate entities. The sales, marketing and manufacturing of essential components and sub-assemblies for communications devices, such as LCD modules and FPC subassemblies, now form the core of our business , which is carried on by our wholly-owned subsidiary, Zastron Shenzhen. The sales, marketing and manufacturing of optical devices, home entertainment devices, mobile phone accessories and educational products is now carried on by one of Zastron's fellow subsidiary.

With a workforce of more than 3,000 employees, Zastron adopts a task-oriented approach to management and emphasizes immensely on product quality, for Zastron is ISO 9001 and ISO14001 certified. We apply the concept of vertical integration to LCD products by providing a one-stop-shop, value-added service, thus satisfying the needs of international customers such as Sanyo-Epson Imaging Devices Corporation, Sharp Corporation, Toshiba Matsushita Display, Optrex, Qualcomm and RadioScape. Since our production processes are generally involved with advance technologies in nature, the Company employs and maintains a group of experienced management professionals and highly capable engineers and supervisors, and a group of well-trained operators and supportive staff.

  All manufacturing facilities of Zastron are established in the PRC. With our China exposure, we believe that we can take advantage of the booming economic opportunities in the Yangze River Delta area, while maintain our strategic focus with the Pearl River Delta areas. Zastron group has acquired two pieces of industrial land in Wuxi City for future expansion - the one with 44,000 square meters will be ready for FPC business expansion, and the other with 48,000 square meters will be used to grow our LCD Module subassemblies. and Box Build (Final Assembly) business.

Company Outlook
Most of our customers are Fortune 500 Corporations, and many of them have settled down in East China Region. To provide better service for our customers and continue to maintain strategic position in Eastern China, manufacturing facilities will be built in Wuxi city in year 2007. Furthermore, we are processing to acquire 120,000 square meter of land in Guangming District in Shenzhen for our expansion.

Zastron’s future development will be a close resemblance of a spiral growth mode --- raw materials, WIP and finished goods – through systematic control of these elements, Zastron optimizes its vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities.
